208 gti steeringwheel on a 207 cc retrofit

Hi

My name is Yazar i am from the netherlands and my girlfriend has a 207 cc 2007

I have a question don't speak french sorry fot that

208 gti steeringwheel seems to fit the 207 but do i need to alter any electronics ? Or is it a plug and play fit
Can someone help me whit this please i have found a 208 gti steering wheel and a 308 2015 airbag wil it fit my car ?

There is a post in the french section but don't understand it help me pull this off please

Hi Yazar, welcome aboard

The 208 steering wheel is compatible with the 207, but you need its airbag too ! And you need to desactivate, using the diabox tool the "little baloon" (don't know if it's called liked that in english"), because the 207 has only one baloon plug whereas the 208 has 2. Make sure you ask someone "professionnal" to do that operation as it's a bit critical

Can I fit the steering wheel and drive the car whitout canceling te little baloon option ?

Or will the airbag go off ( blow ) or somting like that

There is a guy ho does stuff like this but doesnt fit the steeringwheel that's why i need to know then i can install the steeringwheel and drive to him

And i have a 308 airbag looks the same like 208 gti airbag will this fit too ?

I don't know for the little baloon but anybody that i know who put the 208 steering has done that, so maybe it's preferable

I don't think that the 308 airbag fit (which model of 308 is it ??). If it's before 2013, it won't fit, too big, if it's the T9 308, so that's the same steering wheel.

No there is no possibility to make them work as this is not the same communication protocol between 208 and 207

Do u know somting abouth the trunk not opening any more ? It's a 207 cc
