Problems with ERG valve - HDI 110

Hello

Has anyone discovered problems with the EGR valve?

On my HDI 110 it open/close continuous when idle. I hear the the valve open/close and the exhaust sound is different.

My dealer has ordered a new EGR, but I would like to hear if any other had problems like mine, and what the solution was?

Yes we can see this kinf of problem especially for HDI engines but some gasoline engines are reached too.

People are talking about some kind of sensor? What is that, and is that the solution?

My dealer wants to change the whole EGR valve thing...
