electric window problem

My drivers side electric window started only going up a few cm's at a time, now it will not go down at all ! - its stuck shut !

I see on the problems forum this is a common problem but can't speak French. Is there a solution reported there at all ??

Yes it's a very common problem, you have to reinitialize the electric window system following this procedure:

when the window is closed, you have to hold the button up (just like if you wanted to close the window) about 10
seconds. And it's done, your window will open and close like the fisrt day again

But we must say that this is a mechanical problem too.

Peugeot is of course aware of it, and fix this problem by rectifying the adjustments of the glasses's rails. If your problem stays, tell your dealer to do the update.

holding the button "up" for 10 seconds did not fix the problem. I will have to take the car into the dealers.
