Difference 207gt-207rc???

Does anybody knows the differences of gt & rc series of 207?? :coucou:

GT is not a french series.

but in the other country, I think :
GT => 1.6T 150ch
RC (or GTI ?) => 1.6T 175ch

In one or two months, in french we receive the 'Sport Pack' with the 1.6T 150ch, for the moment the 150ch is only on the highest series (Griffe)

GT is the 150ch, and the Deluxe 1.6HDI in Denmark

I know that thp150 is 150bhp and rc(gti) 175php but i need to know the changes(turbo exhaust etc) :dance:

It would surprise me if there were any changes except the engine software.

the difference is that the 175 has an intercooler to keep turbo temperatures down, so power can be more, plus a different electrical set up ECU and probably in the inlet and exhaust settings. why are you so worried about what the differences actually "are", the main difference is nearly 30BHP and completely different trim, wheels, suspension set up, your question is like asking whats the difference between a 1.6HDi 90 and a 1.6HDi 110......20BHP...... :unsure:

Because of the same engine i'm trying to find if it is possible to do those changes to mine(if the differences are small).If those are not possible(i don't think so)it doesn't matter..

I have that tunning virus in me :eek:

but i'm not interesting so much of the Gti :unsure:

The 150bhp version also has an intercooler. Until I have seen evidence of the contrary, i´m betting that ECU software is the only difference.

I read a road test yesterday and they said that the gt have also an intercooler somewhere in front of the radiator i think i'm not so sure about that but also i think that there is not and probably you're right.
Do you think that maybe have diferent turbo?Why mini cooper have 175bhp?
If anyone have some technical spec may be we will find a way.The turbo is from KKK. :serre:

Different exhaust, seats, rc-spoiler, silver mirror caps

thp engine (150bhp) is the same like the 175bhp version in Mini and RC/GTI, just different software settings

Background is that the Mini has to get the strongest version at first (probably cause BMW provided more experience than PSA to develope the engine).
The THP is a downgrade version one can say.

The next step will be an app. 200bhp version, of course in the Mini at first

Ok but at RC and also at GT the pressure that turbo works is 0.8bar i think.If the software is different then that pressure have to be diferent too(probably 1 bar or 1.2bar ).Isn't it?? :bah:

RC/Mini 175 bhp engine has an overboost, 260Nm instead of 240Nm
Im not a mechanic, dont know how it works exactly.
