Hello from Athens, Greece!

Hello all!

Soon enough (hopefully late July to start of August), I will be exchanging
my *BELOVED* Blue Santorin 106 1100cc for a brand new Gris Cendre 207 Executive Pack,
5-doors, 1600cc, 110hp with sunroof.

I guess you guys are the only ones to understand how much excited I feel!

I will miss my 106 - so non-demanding car, I have been almost everywhere
with it and it is really a very reliable car. But one has to move forward before
any good stories are history. My 106 is now 6 years old with 85000 km, so
now it is the time that it will start a bit of demanding. So I figured that the time
has come... and when I did saw 207, of course I felt in love with this jewel...!

As soon as I get the car, I will post photos.

btw, which color did u choose? Any photos?

I was thinking for the Gris Manitoba at first. But then, after hours of seeking and thinking I realised the car needs a light color, at least thats my opinion of course!

in my humble opinion, 207 has GREAT design lines.

when 207 is in a dark color, like black or deep blue, one's eyes stay at the lamps. but when it is in a light color, the black mask (air input area) is what captures the eye.

I know my description was weird like myself LOL but anyway, I hope u did understand my thought

Actually, Caliméro is a famous character, do you know him ?

I also think that light colors are great for the 207 :oui:

But I prefer the Bleu Récife (Μπλέ Recife in Greek

) or Orange (Πορτοκαλί) Salamanque, Rouge (Κόκκινο) Lucifer and Jaune (Κίτρινο) Lacerta :lover:

Blue recife is cool, but is so close to my 106's blue sandorin that I decided to have another color. Orange salamanque is nice, but it is soooooo common in Athens for 206. Almost every second 206 here is orange. Lucifer red is... red and I really dont like having a red car. lol. And as for the yellow lacerta, you know in Athens, taxis are yellow so I really dont want to have a taxi-colored car!

In France it's exactly the opposite, all the cars here are grey, so I'm a little bit bored to see grey cars everywhere... And you know in Paris, the city where I live, grey is also the color of the sky :cry:

So I think this color is depressing

But we can say that every color fits to the 207 :lover:

Aurelie, thats the color on my car too. The only difference is the motor version (yours is HDI 90 hp, right?)
and you've chosen the Sport Pack while I chose Executive Pack.

I really think that the mask on the Sport version is not my favorite. On the
other side, the Executive mask is sooooo cool. Like a high-class car

Calimero, here also lots of cars are silver or grey. But you know, the sky here
is almost all year long blue

lol so the grey shines the blue sky and it looks
different!!

btw, I am planning a road trip to Austria with my new car. Its about 1800 km
and I was wondering, does anyone knows if there are special papers needed
to pass the former Yugoslavia nations? Macedonia, Bosnia, Croatia etc

Hi everybody!
In Italy is like in Paris... There are a lot of grey cars. My 307 SW is light green and I've chosen for my brand new 207 Fèline (HDi 3p. full optional) a Blue Recife, quite too dark for the very hot Italian summer clima but I'm sure that the automatic climatic system can lower the temeprature in few minutes

I think that our 207 will be soon a best seller in all Europe. In Italy is already one.
I wish a super weekend to all of you!
