Hi all,
I am from Scotland and should be gettign my new 207 110hdi GT in montebello blue this evening!
I have had a VW GOlf 1.9 gt tdi for 4 years and am worried that the 207 may fell slow compared to this ? I have seen you can chip it from 100bhp to ~140 , anyone done this yet ?
I was impressed by the interior and looks of the 207 !

What a beautiful coutry you live in, lucky you are!
About the comparison Golf TDi 105-110 and the 1.6 HDi 110, well... I can compare it everyday here in Germany: The 207 HDi 110 works a bit better! Don't be afraid.
And about the motor noise and confort, it's another world!
For the fist thousand kilometers, maybe you will say "oh gosh, the motor is not powerfull a lot." Just a bit patience, and after 3000km-4000km, it will have its full power.
On this same english forum, Shorty has chipped his HDi 110 to 140hp. You can ask him! The chip comes from Germany, from Clemens Motorsport.

I will get pics up as soon as I can!
Initially I hadn't considered the 207 as I thought it was a samll car, but I looked at the MK5 golf and didn't like the interior, also I could only afford a 3yr old audi A3 and the new civic diesel is horrible inside.....I sat in the 207 and immediately it felt so good !

Well, the 207 is not so small, and inside there is a lot of room!
About the new Civic, I completely agree with you about inside, I don't like it at all, too sad, too much screens everywhere and strange board shape.
About the Golf and A3 general shape... Well, not for me.
And the 207 is really a drug to drive!!
