fitting xenons
I fitted a retrofit xenon kit at the weekend. removed the H7 bulbs and replaced them with xenon ones along with ballasts and starters.
not too sure about the result, the beam pattern looks messed up and not as good on the road as the original H7 bulbs. maybe I need to adjust the Bulbs.
I know technically it is illegal to fit such a kit as it is not auto levelling and has now washers. looks good though!

At the enf of this modification, can you bring some photos in order to see this upgrade !
In a way, you are not afraid to blind others drivers if your optics are dirty ?
Thanks

does the 206 have the same type of projector lamp ? - when looking into the headlight you cannot see the bulb, its behind a round projector ?
I will take photos when I can get the bulbs aligned properly, otherwise I will have to remove!

Hi HDi man, I've also installed a Xenon kit (a 8000K one, produced in Germany) on my 207 Fèline. The projector lamps are not the same as the 206. Our 207 mounts the poliellixoidals (sorry if there are misstyping) one. I've the same pattern as the original one but more than 3 times powerful and with a relaxing, clear and off course cool colour!
I think you've only to fit better the bulbs, I had to try a couple of time before the fitting was ok. And no problems with other drivers, this kind of projectors focused perfectly the light beam. You have to take care to set the light regolation not to high (if you're driving alone, set it between 1 and 2, with a "-" sign). until now noone had problems
Soon will I post a couple of picture of it.

Yes, for me this is the same. To explain what I say, I have a video to show you. tell me when you see it, if the modification is the same for the 207

Hi, yes my Xenon bulbs are longer than the H7 too!
I've had some difficulties to fit it correctly in the projector (especially the left one!) due to the small space you have.
And now, works well? I'm just curious...
Enjoy. M@X

Then, here you go!
I've encountered many problem to take a picture due to the high-power of the light but I think here you'll see the different colour between the xenon lamps and the normal-lamps of the anti-fog (is it right?
).
I'm still trying to take a better one
Let me know HDi-man if you was able to fit the bulbs correctly...
See you guys.

I still have to align mine correctly. I was driving down a country road at the weekend and noticed that the left light was not aligned correctly, very poor light towards the front left of the car.
will get photo up when I fix it !

If you look at page 117 in the manual, it seems that only cars fitted with directional lighting, have elipsoid projectors.

Crap...
I was to cheap to order the directional lights, when I ordered the car. They were only 350euro, so I really don´t know why I didn´t order them.
