Armrest

Messagepar Fredborg » 31 Octobre 2006, 15:26

Hi all :)

I'm the very happy owner of a 207 S16 5-door, black beauty that just drives perfectly *SS* Just got it this saturday, so I'm still running wild with both hands above my head :sol:

According to my dealer, armrest is not an option on the 207 - even though it is described in the owners manual?!?

Now my question: does anyone know whether it is possible to get some sort of central armrest retrofitted?? Or even better - if the ones shown in the owners manual kan be installed??

Cheers

That's the funny part - before delivery, I found the online manual on Infotec - called the dealer, who did not know about the armrest - contacted Peugeot Denmark and got the same answer - that the armrest is standard in the GT-models - at the same time I was told that the Sport Seats are the same in the GT-models and the S16 models...

Anyhow - still would be nice with armrests on the long journeys :sol:

Man kan få et armlæn til eftermontering til næsten alle Peugeot´er, så det skal også nok komme til 207´eren. Det vil sandsynligvis ofre kopholderne.

Tillykke med dytten forøvrigt... :)

Hello Jan,

that's right, there is no Peugeot armrest accessory for the 207. But I've found one on ebay, a specific one. You can see it there in my 207:
http://www.feline207.net/photos/modules ... hp?lid=341

You can find it only on the german ebay site, but they can deliver everywhere in Europe:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Mittelarmlehne-Peuge ... dZViewItem
This bid is not actual but you can do a search again with the same description.
For 12 EUR more, you can choose the black leather surface.
The integration an quality are vey good, and it is very very confortable.
Bye!

Yes the armrest is screwed on the sides of the cupholder.
And of course, there is no place for the cups anymore (it's not a big problem for me ;) )
On the 406, with the official Peugeot armrest accessory, the cupholder wasn't usable too! I think there is no other possibility....

I have the 1/2 leather seats like you too, does the leather on the Armrest match the seats ?? my seats look dark grey not black.

also when you screw it in will it leave holes if you remove the armrest ?

The leather color matches yes, it fits very well with the seats.

And yes, if you remove the armrest, 2 small holes will stay on each side of the cupholder!

I have a 406 V6 now, and it has original armrests. The cup holders are still useable.

I think it is strange why Peugeot stick to those anoying between seat cupholders. In my mates new Yaris there are no less than 7 cupholders, with 2 of them up by the dashboard.

Edit: I think you are talking about the armrest to be retrofitted to the 406... :?

Hi!
I found in some shop on the internet armrest for many models of peugeot but not for 207. Maybe it will comes later becouse this model is new. It was nice. Aluminium whit some holes on the sides and leather on the top. But I can´t remember the name of the site. I recomend that because it´s much nicer than this one. Look on the google "peugeot accessories".

@HarikenRed: Your armrest looks quite nice, indeed c,")

I really need my cup holders (beeing a coffeeholic), so your solution does not really do it for me *S*

Maybe I shold just keep an eye on Infotec - maybe the foldable individual armrests from the GT model will be availeble as a spare part - then there has got to be some way of mounting them on my S16-seats *SS*

Yes I talk about the unique central armrest for the 406, which can be opened.
It's very confortable too (but I prefer mine!).

Those armrests are very short. Lots of people say that they are not very confortable because of their small size.

Maybe you talk about the universal armrests. They look so shitty!

No. It was for each model but not for 207. Probably they didn´t make it yet because it is a new model. I wil look for it again (and put picture) because I think put it in my car. Of course if they produce it.

Ah ok I see. The fixing system is the same as the one on ebay.de.
Maybe this 207 version will be released soon.
But there is a bit too much chrom!

And as we were writing this Peugeot added an armrest to their list of accesories, 2 actually. Their part numbers are 9645 08 and 9645 09. That is all the info I have at the moment.

Yes it's the black leather too.
Don't worry, it's black not grey. The flash light of the camera makes the leather looking grey on the picture, but both seat/armrest leathers are very similar! ;)

Well, it's already much better than the 406 original one (the plastic has not the same structure, and is unstable).
Mine fits perfectly with the rest. And I'm not sure that if someday there is an original armrest for the 207, there will we any leather option.
