My side-mirrors froze the first morning I got my 207 and wouldn't fold out (I live in Sweden... and it had been snowing) I went to my dealer and they turned the automatic folding of. So now I just fold them when I need to...

Water can stay in the joint when the side mirrors are folded. After it rains, i can see water leeking out as the mirrors unfold. So when it freezes, the mirrors are blocked....
When you went to your dealer, did they change the motors of the side mirrors or the fuses ?
I like to know if there is a security fuse which stops the motion if its blocked by ice ?

Not bad! I think this option is available only with PPS2000, isn't it?

Hello, what is the PPS2000???
I don't know but the technician made the change in just a minute. I think he just made a change in the electrical system. Since I'm not parking in on the street very often i don't think it's necessary to fold the mirrors every time. Now I can chose when to fold them, that's perfect!
When my mirror froze they folded half whay, made a not so nice sound and then stopped.

PPS2000 is a software wich run on any PC laptop.
The PC is connected to the 207's BSI via a special cable, and you can configure a lot of features and options with it (like for the radio AUX inputs, ...).
Only 1 minute to activate this option, then it could have been done with PPS2000, or an unknown hidden option in the board computer menu!

Yes, I also think the owner should be able to change this be himself. The mirrors froze the day after my car was delivered and the technician was supprised it was done so easy but said to me that if i wanted to change it later they would charge me for it... thats service... NOT!
