Happy New year 2008!
Today's my wife's birthday and tomorrow is mine. So we took leave from our jobs and made a road trip 250km up North into Malacca; one of the states in Malaysia.

Went up to Malacca running at 150km/h most of the time with occassionally up to 180km/h. Returned to Singapore running at mostly 170km/h and occasionally 190km/h. I'm driving the VTI120 AL4 207

yeah man. Fantastic car. And who says Peugeots are unreliable? At least not for the 207! :lang:

Works in the European continents, works well in the South East Asian Hot and humid countries too. I was travelling between 150km/h to 190km/h most of the time. The only times I dropped speeds was to follow behind slow vehicles. The moment I can get to overtake I will accelerate and move on.
207 is very good in its handling. Of course you need to maintain the car in reasonable condition to keep its handling characteristics. The only things I think could be better is to incorporate the ZF SACHS Variable Damping Controlled Dampers instead of using conventional mechanical dampers. It'll make the ride even better. But I have no problem driving the car at such speeds over a period of 1.5hours without rest.

Anyway I have been asked to bribe the officials in a Malaysian road block before. But I refused to. So in the end they let me off with a 'warning'.

CNY = Chinese New Year.
Celebrated also in Singapore and Malaysia. This year is dated on 7Feb08 to 21Feb08. It's different every year on the gregorian calendar.
