I am going to the dealer Saturday, so maybe I'm 2 days away from ordering the RC... let's see how it goes.

I still have to try to bring the price down at the dealer... but thanks for the optimism.

And true...I only fear 3 things with it, 1) Reliability 2) Oil Prices 3) The GNR radar hehehs.

I don't know which worries me the most but funny that all three are after my hard earned money! :euh:

Oh yes i hop you will have a good price for your RC

I'm agree with you the only things you have to worry

- the fuel prices (but the RC can be economic in relation of the potential of the car)
- the GNR and their radars (I know they are like cowboys :lol:

)
-the tracks are very good and it's a tentation to :drive:

to do a vey high speed with this car yes

but the car is a good car and the engine is safe I think

I paray that you find a good agree with your dealer :pape:

don't hesitate to ask other questions if you have some.

Yes, not much money around here either so that's why I'm worried.
I'm trying to get the dealer to improve the price but haven't managed to get it below 25.200€ yet. Taxes suck here!

Perhaps I'll order it this week if they improve it a bit. If not I might end up waiting a few months. :unsure:

Negociation isn't so good. Best I'm getting is 25.350€ but I won't buy unless I can reach 25.000€ so it's up to the sales person.

I see that 17 persons have voted "Yes" so far... and only 3 think the RC is not reliable. Interesting...

Vous avez le prix à la baisse à nouveau aujourd'hui .. -350 €. Je ne pense pas que je peux faire mieux (essayé beaucoup de places) pour cette semaine je vais décider si la 207 RC + Pack sport est une valeur de 25,000 Eur.

Je vais acheter samedi prochain, ou l'oublier et garder la Toyota Auris ... dépend de ce que mon instint me dit.

Du prix de l'essence est terrible ici, mais je suis habitué à l'idée maintenant .. mon seul doute reste le même: la fiabilité et les problèmes éventuels avec la voiture et moteur BMW / PSA :unsure:

Deux philosophies tout à fait différentes tout simplement donc la comparaison est difficile.

L'auris comme voiture quotidienne se révèle une bonne voiture. Le D4D n'est pas un foudre de guerre mais il est volontaire et ne rechigne pas à la tâche... Et puis la garantie est un gros Plus indéniable !

La RC est une voiture pour se faire plaisir. Elle offre un rapport consommation performance honorable.

Après niveau fiabilité, Toyota corrige mieux ses défauts et la fiabilité est en général au rendez vous.
Mais bon des mauvaises surprises existent auprès des deux constructeurs. Le Zéro défaut n'existe pas même chez Bentley...

Update: I ordered the RC this afternoon!
Thanks to all that left comments and opinions.

Now i'm only worried about 2 things: How reliable the car will be (I will buy 2+2 warranty) and the rise of the cost of gasoline.

It will take 60-90 days for the car to be delivered.

I ordered in metallic black (noir obsidian) and added the "Sport Pack" option.
Here in portugal the sport pack means:
+parking sensors
+rearviewmirrors that close (outside)
+electrochromatic rearviewmirror (inside)
+directional headlights
+tyre pressure sensor on the wheels

I'm not sure if the car has dark tinted windows on the rear... I hope so, I really like it all dark. :lover:

Now there's only one thing to worry about...

...crude oil prices... :cry:

GooD choice for the "Sport Pack" option.
